I always wanted to get into IT, technology has always been my passion though I just couldn't see how I was going to bridge the skill gap working 12 – 15 hour days as a security guard to support my family. If it wasn't for Nallawilli and the Pauline E. McLeod foundation I'd never have bridged the high skill gap. I'm so much happier, my wife and family are happier, and I love the challenge of always learning.
Daniel McDougall is the very first psychology scholarship recipient funded by the Pauline E. McLeod Foundation. In the time we have supported Daniel's scholarship, he has successfully completed his undergraduate degree at Swinburne University. Daniel is now undertaking his Honours in Psychological Sciences.
Chandra made the move to Sydney from his hometown looking for work and better opportunities. He found work as a plasterer but knew he had to get out of physical jobs and wanted to use his mind — so took the plunge into a two-year cyber security course.
The Nallawilli Group has committed to support the capability building of both First Nation individuals, Entrepreneurs and Traditional Owners through building an ecosystem of understanding and growth.
